Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Minnesota Vikings second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy is out for a third consecutive week because of his sprained right ankle, the team announced Friday.

Carson Wentz is in line to start for the Vikings in their Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns in London on Sunday. Max Brosmer and Desmond Ridder are the other quarterbacks on the Vikings' roster.

The Vikings also ruled out linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel and offensive linemen Donovan Jackson, Ryan Kelly, Michael Jurgens and Brian O'Neill against the Browns. Linebacker Tyler Batty, fullback C.J. Ham and tight end Ben Yurosek are questionable.

The Browns ruled out defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. Offensive tackle Jack Conklin and cornerback Greg Newsome II are questionable.
