A delegation of Flying Wedge Defence & Aerospace, a Bengaluru-based manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), including bomber UAVs, loitering munitions, unmanned aircraft and agriculture drones, led by its founder and CEO Suhas Tejaskanda, and comprising R.G. Praveen and others, met B.C. Janardhan Reddy, Minister for Roads & Buildings and Infrastructure and Investments, at the Secretariat in Amaravati on Friday.Mr. Suhas said the company was keen on investing nearly ₹500 crore and setting up an Autonomous Combat Aircraft Manufacturing & Testing facility in Anantapur district. He informed the Minister that Flying Wedge Defence & Aerospace was exporting its products to seven countries and had plans to expand to more than 80 countries in the future.Mr. Janardhan Reddy said he was happy that Flying Wedge Defence & Aerospace considered foraying into Andhra Pradesh, and asserted that it had all the characteristics of a prime investment destination in the country, and promised to extend all support to the company.
