A six-year-old girl was killed moments after she stepped off a bus by a motorist, a court heard.
Millie Gribble was mowed down by Stephen Worden, 61, at a bus stop in the Lancashire village of Bilsborrow when he allegedly mounted a grass verge to undertake the vehicle.
Worden also knocked over a teenage boy and his mother.
Preston Crown Court heard that Millie and her mother - Samantha Edmondson - disembarked the bus shortly before 1pm on August 15 2023.
Mere seconds later, the bus driver heard a loud bang followed by screaming as the harrowing incident unfolded.
