“Late Night” host Seth Meyers called out Donald Trump on Wednesday over his history of blaming presidents for past government shutdowns.

Meyers aired a brutal supercut of Trump, who — prior to his first term — said that a shutdown would be a “tremendously negative mark” on former President Barack Obama and that the “pressure” is on anyone in the Oval Office to be a “leader” and work out a deal.

“With Congress, you have to get everybody in a room and you have to get them to agree. ... You have to get people, grab ’em, hug ’em, kiss ’em and get the deal done,” said Trump at a GOP presidential debate in February 2016.

Meyers swiftly poked fun at the president’s negotiation strategy.

“If Trump started grabbing, hugging and kissing [Senate Minority Leader] Chuck Schumer and [House Minority Leader] Hakeem Jeffries, I think they’d agree to anything just to get the hell out of there,” he quipped.
