Distribution of essential commodities to beneficiaries of the Chief Minister’s Thayumanavar Scheme in Tiruvarur district will be carried out on October 5 and 6.
Disclosing this in a press release, Collector V. Mohanachandran has said that essential commodities intended for distribution to family cardholders aged above 70 years and persons with disabilities would be delivered at their doorstep on the above mentioned dates.
A total of 363 vehicles would be pressed into service to distribute the essential commodities to 34,197 beneficiaries covered through 714 public distribution system outlets in Tiruvarur district.
