Eric Trump claimed in an interview Monday night that his father's political enemies tried to break up his marriage to First Lady Melania Trump.
The president's son appeared on Newsmax's Rob Schmitt Tonight, where the host presented him with clips of Democrats complaining about the treatment of former FBI director James Comey, who was indicted last week.
While Trump has long complained about weaponizing the Justice Department, Democrats and many legal observers have pointed to the Comey indictment as evidence of him doing just that.
But Eric pushed back, claiming that former president Joe Biden's Justice Department 'came after me like a dog,' and treated his family horribly.
'They raided his home! They raided Mar-a-Lago! They tried to get him divorced! They tried to separate our family!' Eric told Schmitt.
