An Irish man has been charged over the murder of his parents and his autistic brother.
Mark O'Connor, 54, his wife Louise, 56, and their 27-year-old son, Evan, were stabbed to death in a frenzied attack in the early hours of Monday morning at their house in Drumgowna, County Louth.
A short time later their eldest son Robert O'Connor, 31, was arrested about a kilometer away from the crime scene.
Police said today he appeared before a special sitting of Drogheda District Court on Tuesday evening.
He was remanded in custody following the brief hearing.
