It was the viral kiss-cam video that sparked internet chaos, two job losses, and a very public divorce announcement.
The notorious footage from a Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts, in July showed married Andy Byron, 51, the then chief executive of data firm Astronomer, caught in a cozy embrace with 53-year-old Kristin Cabot, his married now former HR boss.
The mortified pair immediately ducked and tried in vain to shield their faces from view – but Coldplay frontman Chris Martin only made things worse, joking: 'They're either having an affair... or are very shy.'
The fallout went global.
Both Byron and Cabot resigned their roles. Byron's wife, Megan, 50, switched to her maiden name Kerrigan on social media and fled the marital home in Northborough, Massachusetts. Astonomer even hired Chris Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow to star in a reputation-burnishing TV ad.
