Indian cricketer Tilak Varma paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister A.Revanth Reddy at his residence on Tuesday and presented a bat to him after his sensational winning knock against Pakistan in the final match of the Asia Cup-2025 last Sunday.The Chief Minister felicitated Varma and applauded his key role in defeating Pakistan. The southpaw, who played a match-winning knock of 69 and remained unbeaten in the final, returned to his hometown on Monday after helping India secure a record-extending ninth Asia Cup title. Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari, Telangana Sports Authority chairman Shivsena Reddy, managing director Sonibala Devi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Srinivasa Raju and Khairatabad DCC president Rohin Reddy were among those present.
