Online food ordering platform Swiggy has announced a partnership with Tourism Western Australia (TWA) on the sidelines of World Tourism Day 2025.According to a communique from the company, the collaboration is aimed at creating awareness amongst Indian travellers to explore Western Australia as their next holiday destination.The campaign’s mascot is a Quokka, a marsupial found in southwestern Australia. The app will feature a “Find the Quokka” challenge that will encourage users to explore a digital travel map of Western Australia. One participant, selected via a lucky draw, will win return tickets for two to Western Australia, sponsored by Tourism Western Australia.“India is one of Western Australia’s most important and fastest-growing visitor markets. By joining hands with Swiggy, we aim to inspire more Indian travellers to explore the breathtaking landscapes and welcoming spirit of our state,” said Tom Upson, Director Markets & Aviation, Tourism Western Australia.“The Quokka is Western Australia’s charm. By bringing it into the Swiggy experience, we hope to spark curiosity among Indian consumers and inspire them to choose Western Australia as their next holiday destination,” he added.The campaign will be live till October 11.
