The curfew in Leh was relaxed in a phased manner on Saturday (September 27, 2025), after four days of uneasy calm in Ladakh’s capital city.The detained Ladakh Statehood activist Sonam Wangchuk has been shifted from Leh to the jail in Jodhpur, as police accused him of “vitiating the peaceful atmosphere of the region” and making an attempt “to derail the talks” between the Centre and the representatives of the region.
