A 46-year-old man was found dead on the railway tracks at Cherlapalli Railway Station in the early hours of Thursday (September 25). The deceased was identifed as Sararapu Satish Kumar, a resident of Ramnagar Gundu in Hyderabad.The incident was reported around 1.30 a.m. on platform number 4. Investigation revealed that Satish Kumar was a wholesale fish trader who had faced significant financial losses in recent years, which had left him deeply depressed. Family members had been trying to support him through this difficult period.On September 23, he had travelled to Mahabubabad to attend the funeral of his brother-in-law, along with his wife and children, before returning to Secunderabad the following evening via the Intercity Express. Upon arrival at Cherlapalli railway station, he ended his life.Satish Kumar is survived by his wife and two sons. His body has been shifted to Gandhi Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
