MV Eurybia hosted at Berth No.5 of Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited in SPSR Nellore district on Wednesday.
Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) on Thursday announced that it has achieved the highest-ever discharge rate of 61,500 MT in a day, setting a new benchmark in operational efficiency and turnaround.“This accomplishment underscores the seamless coordination, dedication and teamwork of multiple departments,” AKPL Chief Executive Officer Jagdish Patel said in a statement.He further said, “The vessel MV Eurybia, carrying 1,84,649 MT of imported iron ore for JSW Steel, arrived on September 22. AKPL also handled its first-ever rock phosphate shipment this month. Blue Phosphate Limited, a new customer, brought a parcel of 13,100 MT on the vessel MV Glamor for its plant in Kadapa district.”“Blue Phosphate Limited has committed to routing all future rock phosphate shipments through the port. These dual milestones – the highest-ever discharge rate and the introduction of a new cargo profile – reflect AKPL’s relentless focus on operational excellence, customer-centric growth, and strengthening its contribution to India’s maritime economy,” Mr. Patel added.
