DUBAI: Jordan’s Northern Military Zone on Wednesday said it had thwarted an attempt by an individual to illegally cross the border on the kingdom’s northern front. Border guards arrested the suspect, and transferred him to the authorities, a military source told Petra news agency. The army reaffirmed that it will continue to deal firmly with any attempts to undermine the security of Jordan’s borders.
