Japanese Prime Minister looking for further upgrade of ties with Kuwait

TOKYO: Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru told Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, on Tuesday that he plans to further upgrade bilateral relations between the two countries based on their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Japan’s Foreign Ministry reported. Ishiba met with the Crown Prince in New York and said Kuwait, with its strong commitment to multilateralism, including at the United Nations, is a “reliable partner” in international forums and that he wished for the two countries to work closely together.
