The 14-year-old was attacked in a park in Whittington, near Worcester on Sunday night and is said to now be recovering at home after receiving treatment for her injuries at hospital.

The 'resilient' teenager is said to be 'sore' after the stabbing incident which saw police rush to the scene at around 7.40pm following reports of 'screaming' from neighbours.

Three teenage girls were arrested after the attack. They have been released on bail while a police probe continues, Worcester News reports.
