Gayle King Boldly Shuts Down Critics Of Cardi B’s Pregnancy Announcement

Gayle King is standing 10 toes down in defense of Cardi B’s recent pregnancy announcement.

“She’s in a really good headspace,” King told TMZ on Thursday.

The TV host sat down with the Bronx-born rapper, who revealed she’s expecting her fourth child with her new partner, NFL star Stefon Diggs, during an interview that aired last week on “CBS Mornings.”

“I’m happy for her,” King told TMZ. “I walked away with a girl crush on Cardi B. I think if you underestimate her, you do it at your own peril.”

The anchor went on to say that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper “knows exactly what she’s doing.”
