Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Sean "Diddy" Combs' attorneys are asking for a sentence of 14 months, which would be equal to time served for his conviction of transportation for the purposes of prostitution on July 2.
Combs was found not guilty of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He has been in jail for more than a year.
Combs' legal team filed the sentencing memo on Monday on behalf of the music mogul, 55.
In the filing, they said, "It is the only just and fair sentence that could be imposed."
