Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a face-to-face on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
Zelensky arrived in the United States on Monday with Ukraine's first lady Olena Zelenska as he declared Ukraine needs "support of our partners" in a post on Telegram, announcing their arrival.

Zelensky's sit-down with Trump has been part of a broader approach to meet with U.S. officials in order to keep America on Kyiv's side, which for years had normally been a firm ally under past U.S presidents, as Trump and United States cozy up to Russia.
