Howard Stern is declaring victory.
On the Sept. 23 episode of his SiriusXM show, the radio host celebrated news that ABC has ended Jimmy Kimmel's suspension. Stern, a close friend of Kimmel, had spoken out against the suspension on Sept. 22, and by the end of that day, ABC announced "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" will return to the air.
"Well, looks like I solved another problem," Stern jokingly announced as his show began.
Stern then played a clip from a news show that described him speaking out against Disney as a "pivotal" moment in the Kimmel saga.
"All I had to do was mention I was canceling my (Disney+) subscription," Stern quipped before asking cohost Robin Quivers, "What should we fix today, Robin? Global warming? I'm on a roll."
