An asylum seeker hotel resident who sexually assaulted a woman and two schoolgirls is facing jail.

Ethiopian national Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who arrived in the UK on a small boat days before, was found guilty of five offences following a three-day trial.

The 38-year-old told two teenagers he wanted to 'have a baby with each of them' and attempted to kiss them, before inviting them back to the Bell Hotel in Epping, where he was staying.

His advances were rejected again when he saw the girls following day and put his hand on one of their thighs and stroked her hair.

Kebatu then told the 14-year-old girl 'I want a baby from you, we could make lovely Jamaican babies', prompting the teen to inform him of her age, to which he replied: 'age doesn't matter', the trial heard.
