That’s that for the ceremony! The camera cuts to a large cohort of PSG fans who have braved the rain outside the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, with the supporters wildly celebrating Dembélé’s victory with chants and drums. Not too long ago, PSG were seen as bottlejobs on the big stage. This award matters in cementing them as one of Europe’s most revered clubs.
Less than a year ago, Dembélé was out of favour with Luis Enrique at PSG.
