Baby Yoda is getting the big-screen treatment.
"The Mandalorian," the Star Wars series following the galactic adventures of Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) and bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), is being adapted into a film with the upcoming "The Mandalorian and Grogu." And the new trailer for the space Western flick, released Monday, Sept. 22, shows plenty of action in store.
The minute-and-a-half trailer opens with a panoramic shot of a spacecraft zooming through the sky. Grogu, with a telescope in hand, is then seen standing beside Djarin in an apparent stakeout mission.
Grogu and his armored guardian embark on an action-packed adventure, which sees the pint-sized alien traverse sea, air and snowy terrain, as well as dodge a series of bloodthirsty space monsters.
New cast member and Oscar-nominated actress Sigourney Weaver also appears in the film's first look, offering a dash of levity in a playful diner scene with Grogu.
