President Sergio Mattarella on Monday called for a school open to all that integrates everyone at a Naples ceremony marking the start of the school year.

"Our constitution establishes that school is open to all: it is the affirmation of a right," just as it is a duty to "integrate everyone, everyone," "defeating dropout," Mattarella said.

"We need a commitment to ensure that school is everywhere" and "a commitment to include the disadvantaged."
