Harry Styles secretly joined the Berlin Marathon on Sunday, running under the pseudonym Sted Sarandos presumably to avoid attention.
The British singer-songwriter delivered a stellar performance, as reported by The Associated Press.
The former One Direction boy band member completed the notoriously fast course in 2 hours, 59 minutes and 13 seconds, according to official race results, finishing 2,242nd out of roughly 80,000 participants.
Kenya’s Sabastian Sawe won the men’s race in 2:02:16, while compatriot Rosemary Wanjiru captured the women’s title in 2:21:05.
Kelvin Kiptum, also from Kenya, currently holds the world record for the men’s marathon event, running 2:00:35 at the Chicago Marathon in 2023.
