Keir Starmer was branded 'delusional' today by relatives of Israeli hostages brutally kidnapped and murdered by Hamas after he confirmed the UK will recognise a Palestinian state.
The Prime Minister was accused of rewarding the Islamist terrorist group after he lines the UK up with Canada and Australia in a symbolic gesture aimed at pressuring Israel into a Gaza ceasefire.
It comes almost two years after the October 7 attacks by Hamas across into Israel that triggered months of major bloodshed and misery in Gaza that has left tens of thousands of people dead.
Sir Keir used a video address this afternoon to defend the move, saying he was acting to try to salvage hopes of a two–state solution between the Israelis and Palestinians.
But Mandy Damari, who met Sir Keir countless times in her campaign to free her British Israeli daughter Emily from 15 months of captivity, told the Mail: 'Keir Starmer is under a two–state delusion.
