Las Vegas Aces star forward A’ja Wilson has been named the 2025 WNBA Most Valuable Player, the league announced Sunday. She is the first four-time MVP in league history.

Wilson — who also won the award in 2020, 2022, and 2024 — had been tied with Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie and Lauren Jackson as three-time MVPs. WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert surprised Wilson while delivering the award in person on Friday in Las Vegas.
