Two of the most storied and historically decorated programs in the history of college football — both with large, rabid fan bases and iconic helmets — will square off this weekend.

With one loss already to its name, No. 20 Michigan will travel to Nebraska to take on an undefeated Cornhuskers team on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska in what will be the first Big Ten game of the season for both teams.

The Wolverines will be without head coach Sherrone Moore for a second consecutive week as he finishes a two-game suspension handed down by the school in wake of the NCAA investigation into Michigan's sign-stealing operation. With associate head coach Biff Poggi serving as the interim head coach, the Wolverines had little trouble without Moore last week in a 63-3 rout of Central Michigan, a game in which five-star freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood accounted for 349 total yards and three touchdowns.

An undeniably taller task awaits in Nebraska. The Huskers are off to a 3-0 start and have won their past two games, against Akron and Houston Christian, by a combined score of 127-7. Quarterback Dylan Raiola, a former five-star prospect himself, has been sharp so far this season, completing 76.6% of his passes for 829 yards, eight touchdowns and no interceptions.
