Domestic helper discovers window and safe pried open at flat in The Lily
Hong Kong police have launched an investigation after jewellery and watches worth more than HK$1 million (US$128,610) were stolen from a luxury flat in Repulse Bay.
Police said they received a report at around 10am on Saturday from the security staff at The Lily, a serviced flat complex in the affluent neighbourhood in Southern district.
A 42-year-old domestic helper discovered on Saturday morning that a window and a safe in a room had been pried open.
“There were signs of ransacking inside the unit, and property was missing in a suspected burglary,” the force said.
