A former NHS doctor has been criticised for sharing how much GPs really earn while working part time in the UK.

Dr Harry Musson, who helps international medical graduates become doctors in the US, has revealed how much he took home while working three days a week as a GP.

Clarifying how this pay cheque was from earlier in the year when he worked as a salaried GP in Britain, he explained: 'Most GPs in the UK work part time.'

Showing the payslip on the screen, he revealed the gross salary for a part-time GP was £6,000-a-month.

However, with deductions, including income tax, national insurance and other deductibles, the wage from April this year amounts to £3,603.64.
