A British Airways flight attendant who was found naked and gibbering in a plane toilet after going 'AWOL in San Francisco' and taking meth has avoided jail.
Haden Pentecost, 41, from Basingstoke, Hampshire, told his colleagues he was suffering with stomach cramps before starting his shift on a ten-hour flight from the northern Californian city to London Heathrow on May 25.
He was removed from attendant duty after failing to help complete the pre-flight safety checks and told his colleagues that he had to change his clothes as he locked himself in the aircraft toilet.
But when Pentecost opened the door, his female colleague found him 'completely naked and oblivious'.
It later transpired that he had taken a cocktail of drugs which had left him 'agitated, sweating and babbling' upon discovery.
