TKarur Vysya Bank (KVB) on Thursday launched a 60-day cybersecurity campaign in Tiruchi to raise awareness against cyber fraud.The campaign, titled “KVB sonna kelunga, digital fraud la sikadhinga,” (Listen to KVB, do not get trapped in digital fraud) is part of KVB’s CSR initiative to educate the public about safe digital practices and protection against cyber fraud.The campaign was inaugurated by N. Kamini, Commissioner of Police, Tiruchi.KVB will conduct awareness sessions in schools, colleges, elder care homes, parks, places of worship, busy junctions, and panchayats. A specially designed van fitted with LED screens will travel across Tiruchi over the next 60 days, supported by the launch of two television commercials.All KVB branches in Tiruchi will function as Digital Self-Defence Kiosks where members of the public can walk in and gain first-hand knowledge on cyber security, the release added.
