AI Pathfinder said work on the factory in Chelveston, near Rushden, would begin in December and was its first step in creating 2GW of supercomputing capacity for the UK."AI Pathfinder's mission to provide the infrastructure [to deliver AI] is a critical part of ensuring the UK is at the forefront of the AI-powered global economy," said chairman Martin Bellamy.UK-based AI Pathfinder said it already controlled multiple sites across the country and had "tenured experience of delivering complex projects".
