Heavy rain lashed several parts of Hyderabad on Wednesday (September 17, 2025) through intervening hours of Thursday (September 18, 2025) morning, which led to floods on streets. Several were caught unaware of the heavy rain and its impact. The flow of water made it tough for motorists to ride bikes with some choosing to stop and assess the situation.According to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS), Hyderabad recorded heavy rainfall within a span of 13 to 15 hours between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The highest rainfall recorded in Hyderabad was 18.4 cm in Musheerabad followed by 14.7 cm in Chilkalguda, 14.6 cm in Begumpet.Photo:
