“South Park” is pushing back the airing of its next episode, the animated show’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced Wednesday.
“Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done. This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time,” Parker and Stone wrote in a joint statement shared to the show’s social media pages.
“Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”
The news arrived just hours before the episode was set to air on the network.
The show was originally scheduled to roll out new episodes from its 27th season every two weeks.
