BBC Bargain Hunt star Charles Hanson has clashed with his neighbours who are unhappy with his proposed plan to host film screenings and live music at his Grade II listed Georgian mansion.
The auctioneer, 47, is seeking permission from the council to host the events on a field next to Bishton Hall between Stafford and Rugeley - but some residents are not in tune with the proposals.
Three representations have been submitted to Stafford Borough Council from local residents expressing concerns over noise levels and drunken revellers pouring out on to unlit streets during the night.
Other reasons for their objection include the types of events being currently held, the use of 'fake guns and cannons', and increased noise from an auctioneer's PA system.
Bishton Hall was previously home to St Bede's School, before becoming Hanson's Staffordshire showroom for Hansons Auctioneers.
