The indictment of Tyler Robinson, who’s been charged with aggravated murder and multiple other crimes in connection with the shooting death of right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, includes several alleged texts he sent his roommate in the aftermath of attack.

The roommate, with whom prosecutors say Robinson was in a romantic relationship, provided the messages to police, the indictment says. The texts began with Robinson allegedly texting the roommate to “drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.” There, the roommate allegedly found a note that stated: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

When the roommate asked if he was joking, the following text exchange began, according to the indictment.

Robinson: I am still ok my love, but am stuck in orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.

Roommate: you weren’t the one who did it right????
