Furious villagers face a 12-mile trip to the shops after delays in urgent repairs to a historic bridge have split their community in half.
The partial collapse of a 200-year-old bridge in last year's storms has left Bronygarth in Shropshire in two for almost a year.
Fed-up locals have compared the disruption to being in a 'mini lockdown' and say they are stuck in a 'never-ending nightmare'.
Some even cross the border into Wales to go shopping because it is quicker than travelling to the nearest store in England.
The 2,000 locals have lived with the detour since the bridge's parapet was swept away by Storm Bert last November.
