A mother has told of her anguish after medics wrongly blamed a fatal cancerous lump on her one-year-old daughter's face on her and her baby's father.

Kayleigh Reid was bathing Delilah-Rai Reid-Floyd in January this year when she felt the pea-sized mass.

Worried, she immediately booked a doctor's appointment the following day, and a GP sent Delilah-Rai to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.

However, over the next few days, her parents were accused of harming their child, Ms Reid claimed.

Tragically, after months of delays, Delilah-Rai succumbed to her condition and died aged just 19 month, leaving her parents devastated.
