The Wall Street Journal’s headline of its new editorial slamming Attorney General Pam Bondi said it all.
“Pam Bondi Needs a Free Speech Tutorial,” the newspaper’s conservative editorial board headlined its essay condemning Bondi’s suggestion that she’d unleash law enforcement on those who haven’t responded to right-wing activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination in the way she deems correct.

Bondi has since semi-walked back her comments following a backlash, which the Journal acknowledged.
But the board still asked: “Is a basic understanding of the First Amendment too much to expect from the nation’s Attorney General?”
