The romantic comedy stars Nickelodeon alum Miranda Cosgrove as a single woman who joins a dating show, thinking it’s in Paris, France, where she has just been accepted into art school. Only to find out the show is set in Paris... Texas. Her next mission is to get eliminated as fast as possible, but not before the cowboy bachelor (Pierson Fodé) can sweep her off her feet.
The movie also stars Yvonne Orji, Madison Pettis, Frances Fisher, Emilija Baranac, Madeleine Arthur, Torrance Coombs, Christin Park and Hannah Stocking.
Despite its trending status on Netflix, “The Wrong Paris” has received mixed reviews from critics and viewers, with a 60% Rotten Tomatoes score. One user on X wrote, “GUYS I HAD A BLAST WATCHING THE WRONG PARIS.” Meanwhile, outlets like The Guardian called the Netflix film one of the streamer’s “many low-grade background watches.”
