Marking World Ozone Day, the Student Ministry of Environment, M.O.P. Sansad 2025–26, in collaboration with Green Voice Global, a non-governmental organisation, organised the “Ozone Trail” walkathon on Tuesday. The event was inaugurated by Seema Agrawal, Director General of Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services, who stressed the need for sustainable practices to protect the ozone layer. Starting at Valluvar Kottam, the walkathon saw the participation of nearly 200 students under the theme “Walk for Awareness, Walk for Ozone,” and highlighted collective responsibility towards a greener, sustainable future. The initiative also aimed to inspire young citizens to champion environmental stewardship.
