Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor was spotted on Sunday night in New York City enjoying a date night with his fiancee just hours before dropping out of the Irish Presidential race.
The former MMA fighter was photographed cosying up to partner Dee Devlin as the pair enjoyed some drinks on a terrace in the West Village.
The pictures of the couple may be a surprising scene to some after he was recently embroiled in controversy when he was photographed kissing a mystery brunette woman on a beach in Fort Lauderdale.
It also comes as McGregor, 37, announced he is quitting the race to become Irish president and that he would be spending more time in the US to promote Irish jobs and politics.
He had been due to address meetings of Dublin City Council and Kildare County Council on Monday in an attempt to get onto the ballot paper for October's election.
