Britain's strictest headteacher has blamed ‘wokery’ for the Oxford Union’s new president celebrating Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Katharine Birbalsingh, founder of Michaela Community School in Wembley, said it was a ‘product’ of schools promoting Left-wing ideologies.
She waded in after George Abaraonye posted social media comments appearing to condone the shooting of Mr Kirk, an American conservative political activist.
He reportedly wrote on WhatsApp: 'Charlie Kirk got shot, let's f***ing go’ and on Instagram: 'Charlie Kirk got shot loool' (short for 'laugh out loud').
Miss Birbalsingh, famous for her tough approach to discipline and standards, said the callous comments reflected today’s school system.
