Travis Kelce has revealed that he felt a bit of uneasiness when proposing to Taylor Swift last month, telling Fox Sports’ Erin Andrews that his “palms were definitely sweating” at the time.
“I was definitely — I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there,” said Kelce, who initially suggested Swift should “tell that story” when asked how “rattled” he got when he popped the question to the pop star.
“But it’s been an exciting ride up to this date, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her,” he added.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, who recently described himself as the “happiest guy in the world,” told Andrews that his fiancée has brought him “excitement and joy for life.”
“[She’s] made me a better man, made me a better person and made me just that much more comfortable in who I am,” said Kelce, who announced his engagement to Swift alongside a group of photos that set an all-time repost record on Instagram.
