The 2025 Emmy Awards are here!
The Television Academy is honoring the best of television in its annual ceremony, with comedian Nate Bargatze as a first-time host for the show.
“Severance” and “The Studio” are leading contenders for the ceremony. Apple TV+’s “Severance,” which became one of the most talked-about dramas earlier this year, received 27 nominations for its second season. “The Studio,” Apple TV+’s hit freshman comedy, broke a previous record set by “Ted Lasso” with its 23 nods.
Several other new series were nominated this year, including “The Pitt,” “The Penguin,” “Paradise” and “Nobody Wants This.”
“The Bear,” “The White Lotus,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Hacks” and “Only Murders in the Building” — which have been mainstays in recent Emmy Awards ceremonies — also each received a handful of nominations.
