The technical glitch that had affected Kochi-1 prepaid card services for travel on Kochi Metro trains has been rectified, according to Kochi Metro Rail officials.
Manual ticket-issuance counters were activated across stations following the glitch. The issue was resolved by Sunday (September 14, 2025) morning, metro sources said. On Saturday (September 13, 2025), passengers presenting their Kochi-1 cards were given the usual discounts — 20% on single-journey tickets and 25% and 33% on trip passes, the agency added.
