A one-year-old boy, who was undergoing treatment at the Government Children’s Hospital in Egmore after falling from the balcony of his house, died on Saturday (September 13, 2025) night.
Chennai City Police said the deceased toddler Sarveshwaran was the son of Anandan, who is a businessman, residing in Anbu Nagar of Valasaravakkam.
On August 8, Sarveshwaran was playing in the balcony of his house in the first floor when he slipped and fell. He was rushed to a private hospital in the locality for first-aid and later admitted to the Egmore Children hospital.
The Koyambedu police have filed a case and are investigating.
