The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback outdueled Patrick Mahomes and the three-time reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs on Friday night in Brazil, delivering a signature performance with clutch plays and some memorable moments. Herbert’s ability to produce on such a grand stage could have been an important catapult into a highly anticipated second season with coach Jim Harbaugh.
