No longer Superman, Henry Cavill can be hurt by more than just Kryptonite.
"The Witcher" star sustained an injury ahead of filming for the upcoming "Highlander" revival, according to Amazon MGM Studios.
Production for the remake of the 1986 action movie is now expected to begin in early 2026 after the 42-year-old "Man of Steel" actor was injured during the pre-production stage, the studio confirmed to USA TODAY.
Amazon did not provide additional details on how Cavill was injured or what those injuries are.
USA TODAY has reached out to Cavill's representatives for comment.
